Wow: Denver's Epic Dunkfest Against the Pacers Is Going Viral

They really threw down!

The Denver Nuggets put on a slam dunk show in their game against the Indiana Pacers on January 20, 2023, setting an NBA season-high with 16 dunks. This tied for the fourth most dunks any team has had since 1996-97, with the Clippers having 20 dunks in 2019 and the Wizards having 18 in 2018. Despite not having their star player, Nikola Jokic, who was out with an injury, the Nuggets were able to rally behind a strong performance from Jamal Murray, who put up 17 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds.

The game started off with a high-flying Denver team leading 50-36 after a tomahawk slam by P.J. Dozier off a nice assist from Bones Hyland, but the Nuggets got sloppy before halftime and allowed the Pacers to cut into their lead. Denver eventually won the game 109-105, extending their winning streak to 9 games. The Nuggets' dunkfest was a reminder of their athleticism and depth and was a treat for fans to witness.
