Watch: Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs Explain Injury

He looks to be fine but he could be acting.

Patrick Mahomes took to the podium today during a pre-AFC championship game press conference and appeared to be fine, as recorded on a TikTok video posted to the official NFL on CBS account. Mahomes injured his ankle in the first quarter in last weekend's divisional-round game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain after the game. After coming out for a drive at the end of the 2nd quarter, Mahomes stayed in the game and led the Chiefs to a victory over the Jaguars.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid has also said that there are no players on the injury report and the TikTok video additionally showed Mahomes walking off the podium with no visible limp. It remains to be scene if Mahomes is putting on a brave face or not, considering that high ankle sprains take weeks to heal properly.
